Traditional Hummus (no oil)

This is a classic hummus, but without the oil. It tastes delicious, and if you eat it directly after making it, it tastes super creamy. You will have trouble leaving any for later!

 1 400g can chickpeas - drained, retain liquid
 1 lemon - juice of (approx 2 tablespoons)
 1 tbsp unhulled tahini
 1 - 2 cloves garlic - peeled and roughly chopped
 1 tsp ground cumin seed
 1 tsp herb and garlic salt (optional)
 ground black pepper (to taste)

Add all ingredients to a small food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the hummus needs more liquid, use the drained liquid from the chickpeas (aquafaba).
